CLASS BLOG FOR EYEBEAM'S DIGITAL DAY CAMP 2008 PROGRAM
DDC 2008 is focused on the theme “Better Than the Real Thing”, which explores the tension in distinguishing “real” from “fake”. Among the questions that will be addressed are: What is authentic in the realm of the digital? Can something be so fake that it becomes real? How can hoaxes, recreations, and illusions be used aesthetically and critically? DDC 2008 will investigate this through the creation of interactive art projects.
